Looked at it today. Only 25 miles from me. Long time California car (since '70). Sounded great running. Had rebuilt engine, m/cyls, tranny, dist. per seller. Clock was only non functioning. Rust bubble under rear window, but otherwise...? Tired interior, but good headliner. Could use a respray paint job. Reasonable price for a drivable car in fair shape. (~3000USD). Deal breaker for me was the '66 2000TC rolling rust bucket loaded down with engine/body parts (new sills/hubcaps, head, etc.) that seller insisted had to go with the '69!

A 1966 TC is a much more attractive prospect to me than this one. There are not many TCs that early around. Shame it was in such a sorry condition. Keep looking and the right car will turn up. In the meantime enjoy the one you have :)

Any Federal series 1 4-pots are as attractive as a UK-spec series 1 4-pot. They're very rare and not easy to find in even a reasonable condition.
