on the ignition coil plus terminal, I have two white and yellow wires, negative terminal, one black to distributer. there is two wires fixed together, black and white hanging loose. a further two wires black and white, crimped together, hanging, any ideas car starts and runs, tacho working...

Why did I have to replace the old belt??? I am thinking on the water pump but, I would think end float on the pump would be halted? by the impeller. regards

lost me there friend, but pulleys out of line will knock out a fan belt double quick.(friction on the "V") regards

thanks for that people, having obtained a new belt, I notice the fan pulley is slightly out of line with the crank pulley, nothing is loose, but obviously not right, fan on tight. Crank end float. Naah, so what? Regards Brian

regarding the dizzy condenser so, I am getting no spark at plugs, HT lead remove from dizzy when earthed. plenty of sparks. Thought maybe the condenser breaking down. Sounds daft, but I think I may have put the insulation between the wire from the coil and the condenser on to the holding bolt...

where can I obtain a fan belt to suit P6 3500 1974 automatic. I tried ebay, any available, then state will not fit?? thanks Brian
