I *think* it was 450lb at the front and 500lb at the rear. Might sound odd, but the way the front is designed, there is a multiplication of the poundage (worked out by doing corner weighting so if you have not stripped your car and put poly carb windows in etc it will not apply). Cannot remember...
Quaife will make you one. £££££
Classe Parts will upgrade the internals. Not as much but still a fair few ££££. There's quite a few posts on this on the forum including mine where I tried to drum up enough people to make the Quaife option more feasible.
If you read it all, it says that those power increases are exempt if it increases the efficiency. So if you can prove that a blown 4.6 is more efficient than burning fuel than the standard 3.5... :) (it was certainly more efficient than the 3.5 without the blower). Just a thought :)
Was the manifold just of poor quality then? What has it got in it? Where are the fuel leaks?
If you floor it, the 4 speed will not last any time at all if all is running correctly with the charger. Or maybe the diff, who knows which first.
Glad the eyes are off. Standard lights back in...
Ah, look forward to seeing the progress :). I built the car before I sold it on and it had the top end changes (including the obvious - supercharger), respray, different seats and mirrors and possibly a few other bits and bobs :)
This is the original thread on here: Rover P6 4.6 V8 Road/Race...

And if you don't like eBay these are the same people: Knight Racer - Bodykits, Carbon and Customising
Hello. The P6 is sadly sold but thankfully to a chap who seems to be enthusiastic about the P6 and the Rover V8 in general and is not afraid in the slightest of modifications. I have pointed him to this thread and he is gradually reading through.
Thanks to everyone that has had discussions with...
