P6 Windscreen

Hi all, been a while since i have logged in, but back to maintenance on the p6b
I am wondering if anyone might have a front windscreen in good nic for sale, so would have to be in New Zealand im guessing.
Any help appreciated
Cheers Karl

Hey thanks Graeme i did contact Gav, but in the mean time i found a cheap as one in Tauranga so stoked.
Mine was usable but i thought id get one that doesnt have pits and scratches and fit it while the cars off the road.
I have ended up removing the front doors and the rust in the doors and respraying.
I am not a panel beater or sprayer although i did a bloody good job with a compressor and enamel paint on my series one.
I may end up doing it again rather than using a solvent aerosol.
Anyway may be moving camp soon so better get my A into G so i can drive her to her new home.
Have to drop the trans fluid fit a new gasket which will complete the new repiping of the external oil cooler.
Fit a replacement side rod and have a new rear muffler.
I am going to cheat a little and use rubber paint to paint the roof to give me a vinyl look but if it doesnt work or look good i can
peel it off.
Then refit the chrome trim.
Ive pulled the dash out to try and flatten the bulge they get to some success so will refit that and a new switch panel.
I want to remove the heater box also to fix the fact that it doesnt blow, whatever that may be.
When will it end?

When you drop the trans fluid- take off the sump and give it a thorough clean. I had years of gunge on mine and the magnet looked like hedgehog with all the metal filings it had attracted. Clean the filter too. Just sayin.

all good and will do
i did have slippage when waiting for a few minutes at intersections so with new/correct fluid hopefully it will cure it
heres hopin
Just clean the filter in some petrol?

As an aside - don't use dextron in the unit . It will kill it .
I use Valvoline ATF type F for borgwarner 35.
Super Cheap stock it.

Clean the filter ?
With a gasket kit you will get a new filter also. BW 35 or BW 65 ? When you drain it, use a simple pan and check the quantity. Fill up the same with new oil as you will drain only a part of the total volume in the box.

ive got a new rubber gasket for the sump and happy just to clean the filter rather than replace. Ive lost fluid from the cooler and piping and will lose some more from the pan too.
Yes Graeme , i have got some f type fluid (penrite) ready to go in, thinking there may be dextron in it causing the slippage when hot.
