No worries since I run Evans fluid in the system. Anyway we have had just one night with frost so far this autumn. But thats a signal for the god damn salttrucks to start pouring out their corrosive stuff!
Hi Sdibbers, On Booth my S2 P6’es there are two tubes in the front of the bonnet. That is one 3500 and one 3500s. On my 1965 2000 however, there are nothing at the front. So probably an addition that came with the S2 in 1971.
The pump is sitting in front of the engine about where the mech pumps have sat. IT has been there since 2002 and have not
given me problems earlier. And when testing it provided a good flow of petrol to the carb inlet.

My thrusty Rover 3500 1971 has developed a problem when hot. It can take more than 1/2 hour for her to ignite again after a stop. Very inconvenient at petrolstations and other places I choose to stop. I have checked she has spark and also petrol to the carbs. When she is cold she starts and run...
My monza Rover has had its plates more than a year now. It is good to drive, but I am not happy with the engine. Its got a ticking sound probably coming from the hydraulic lifter or the adjustable rod. I drove 180 km yesterday on the national day, but the ticking is getting very annoying...
I had a Tesla Model S for 1 1/2 months back in 2013, Very quickly found out it was totally wrong for me. Did not like how it drove, did not like to sit inside a big computer, did not like the lack of V8 growl, sold it with 1300 km on the clock and got more for it than I paid.
Hi Terry, I saw your question about the clock. If you take it out you will find an adjustment screw behind it. You can adjust it and then run it for a day to see how it worked, then adjust again etc. I did that to mine, and now it works quite accurate.
I have had my speedometer overhauled and calibrated for a 5 speed gearbox by Speedy Cables. It now read spot on and is very smooth. So I am happy even though they took their time to do it. About two months if I remember correctly.
