    I did think to myself why am making this hole rectangular when you cant even see it but it does make a much better finish too it. Just need to try and find some of the proper fittings for the valance as they were either rotten or I had to cut.

    I bought the repair panel which goes right up to near the rear window but just cut off what I needed. Bought it in ebay. Think he had more for the same side.

    I know what you mean about laying on your back. I bought myself a padded creeper board recently and it has made getting under a bit better.

    Have another complete rear suspension in another garage so hopefully that lower link will be ok. Fingers crossed. Its buried at the moment though so haven't had a chance to look

    It's all going well. Only a little bit of underseal left to scrape off then I can finish the welding at the rear. The wet weather keeps slowing me down.

    Gradually getting there with removing the underseal. Did find a small amount of welding I didnt know about so its worthwhile removing it to see.

    Looking very nice. Hopefully mine will get to look the same soon although a bit weary of painting or stonechiping anything now its getting colder.

    Rear axle removed this week and a nasty trailing arm discovery. Then on to stripping the underseal. That's probably going to take me the next couple of weekends

    I have the pedals and all the bits from an s for the master and will cross the bridge for the Crossmember when I get that far but have the auto and the sd1 member to play with. That was a bit of a mistake not fitting a gasket, I'll be sure I do.
