Does anyone have a photo of new sill seals in place. Seals are supplied longer than the 'raised' section on the sill. I assume they need to be cut down to size. Are the ends just finished square or do they need to be shaped to blend in with the door seals?

My Series 1 2000 has had the bonnet replaced at some stage in its life. It was painted body colour (Arden Green) on the underside. Am about to have it resprayed. Should it be entirely saturn black on the underside or is the nose body colour?

The distributor drive gear has a cam lobe on the bottom to operate the fuel pump push rod. Wondering if that's what is fouling inside the housing. You could try rotating the Engine by hand until the gear is 180 degrees around from its current orientation

My car still had some plastic over the carpet ( albeit very tatty). That tag on the choke is nec level.

I recently fitted my rear wing rubbers and experienced a similar frustration. What I found worked well was a liberal application of rubber grease and a hard plastic door card removal tool. Far less aggressive than a screw driver.

How confident are you that your water jackets are nice and clear? Mine where full of sludge when I changed the side plates.

Reassembling my 2000 post paint ATM. One of the plastic covers that go over the spindle is cracked and looking its age. Could I just use the rubber grommets from the Series 2? I guess they don't look as smart as the form fitting S1 covers. Unless anyone has a spare. I'm after the smaller one...

That looks better. I can pull it apart and paint the brackets now.

I got the booster off a very rusty 67 TC. It still had the plastic cap on it but it fell apart when I pulled it apart

I’m replacing an aftermarket brake booster (a pbr 44 for the other Aussies) with an original Lockheed unit. Looks like the orientation that you mount it doesn’t seem to matter? Having it sit with the vacuum valve on the side would make it easier to install the vacuum hose
