So first off

Transport travelling north available in next few weeks....I am planning to hire a self drive transporter to go pick up a 2200sc from Blyth and bring it back to Somerset...get in touch if you need anything taken Northwards on my way up cheers
I have a plan...I am planning to hire a self drive Transporter - prefer that over towing using the family car- get in touch if you need a car or similar transported south going north..in the next few weeks
Speaking to Mr Sawdust..This car is too good to scrap..In fact it’s a better prospect than my Brown 2000 at the moment! So it looks like I will be rescuing this one as well..now then is there anyone in the Blythe area who would be up for lending a hand for a couple of hours in the next few...

Made the most of some shed time- decided to start at the rear and work forwards along the O/S which is as rotten as a pear compared to the other side
First off repaired a hole in the chassis partially hidden by the inner wheel arch/bowl –drilled the spot welds out to peel back the bowl and cut...

Just interested to see if anyone else has done it to a standard SC ..I know a few who have done other classics ...may be one for the future- got to restore the body first!
Yep - looking at it think I would prefer to make my own, the o/s is very frilly along the edge the seal sits on - the N/S not so bad so I can get some decent dimentions/make a template off that ...
