    Some kind of fever

Hi pa747sp, Mine is the factory a/c unit. I dont know what company they went with but it has a York compressor, which I was told is a very good unit when I had it rec-od a number of years back. I was asking him wether a modern compressor would be a better replacement instead of rec-oing mine.

    Some kind of fever

thanks - didnt know about a/c'd cars from NZ. I imported an a/c P6 from Solihull because I wanted that option., and was told by the dealer in Perth [WA] that all P6 stock came via NZ except if you wanted a/c. That was in 72 though , so things must have changed. My a/c is still performing well...

    Nice addition

they are inertia belts. The catalogue pic with black seat and red belt is confusing. I'll give these guys a tincle and see what their costs are. thanks jp928

    Nice addition

What you reckon? Havn't seen them in "anything as long as its black" before. Nice colour coordinated belts would go well with my Toledo red interior. Good start to the 2025 expense a/c for my P6. I can get them local [nz] for $162 each side. I just require a few permissions off this forum...

    Scarab the Rover..

Makes opening the door from the inside a bit easier. Put your hand through the pull handle and grab the handle and just close your fist. You can position the handle so its close to the vertical part of the pull handle.

    Scarab the Rover..

Are you trying a new style of inner door handle? You are using a rear one there.

    Getting back on the road

Really frustrating for you. I honour your tenacity. I have a squeak lower left windscreen Ive been chasing for yonks. I only hear it when I want to. Ive learnt a few life skills from being in a long term relationship with my woman.

    Roger the Red - 1973 3500

Nice looking P6. Lots of fun ahead. That V8 sound is a testosterone grabber for a school boy. Very clean inside that pump, why did you pull it?

    Heater box teardown and rebuild

Anyone on here pulled out a heater box from a P6b fitted with A/C from the factory? I guess most of the a/c cars were NADA. I have got factory a/c in mine and the heating has deteriorated over the 50yrs to the point of being abysmal. I would love to attack mine but notice the a/c lines go into...

I tend to throw gifts at her all year. WOF's, rego. Just dropped all the oils and refreshed- tend to do that in june and december as its easier on my memory bank. Ceramic coating on paint and glass. The ancillary bills add up over the twelve months and my better half keeps a watchful eye on my...

    Scarab the Rover..

I rotate my fuel filter to become the rear engine breather when I replace the fuel filter. Is this a bad idea? I know if you dont clean the two grey breather units that lead into the rocker covers , the motor will chuck oil out of unmentionable places

    Brake fluid

Thanks for that info Ron. Brake fluid and hydroscopics was memory banked in the recesses of my brain yonks ago and not really taken it on board esp if I wasnt doing my brakes at the time. I'll follow your lead on all points. Perhaps I'll give the partly used old bottle of Dot4 to my neighbour...
