Well im suprised no one as mentioned the nada for sale on ebay. Looks a good project for anyone. These cars are going to rocket soon being the ultimate p6 to own.

Hi Harvey tried that and it does move forward with clutch pedal down.
So looks like it will need to come out.
it had a new clutch fitted 2k ago but not the cylinder.

Hi Justin im currently doing same as you and fitting sd1 alloys to my 2200. I have had to change the front hubs to get the alloys to fit propery. But im hunting for the grease caps to fit . So if I or you locate a supply can you let me know were you got them . I will let you know if I locate...
Hi Harvey that must be the case. I ve never seen the under rear of the series one 2000 only my 1971 and closely but they look same. But saying that I not the most observant of guys .i will look closely next time im under there.

Hi Harvey thanks for info. I found out when I ordered the bushes for my 2000 they were to small to fit into the arm which are fastened into the base unit. So I had to get the 2200 bushes and thats when I realised the 2000 0nes are smaller.
just for your info I wondered when they started to fit...
Just out of interest my rosie has v8 wheels on and the straight rear links and there is plenty of clearance.
But I also have the 2200 / v8 rear suspension legs with wider bushes.
So I wonder if my 1971 rover rear has been changed at some point.

The sills are easy to repair and the boot area looks ok, But before you do anything I would have a good dig around the bulk head area to see how bad that rot is on it. The lower section panel is east to replace. I had the same with my rosie she had the same welded on outer covers which as yours...
