    Heat shields on 2000TC

Where should the heat shields be installed on a 2 can 2000 TC exhaust system? I seem to recall that there was one next to the gearbox and one around the bend over the De Dion tube. At the moment the bend over the De Dion tube is wrapped with an insulating bandage and I have fitted insulation...

    Manual steering box seal failure

over the past 2 weeks a slight weep from the bottom oil seal of the steering box increased dramatically so much so that the box emptied itself into 2 puddles the size of a plate. unknown part found in fuel tank

Hi, Here in Malta fuel with an octane rating of 98 (RON) has finally become available and I decided to run my 1969 2000 TC with this fuel. Since it is an export model the engine supplied had a lower compression ratio ( 9:1 ) and therefore required fuel of a 96 (RON) as a minimum as opposed to UK...

    restoring leather seats

Hi my P6 has sandalwood leather seats that need some work to get them back to their glory. There aren't any tears but the leather is creased and needs some rejuvenation. I was thinking of buying a kit to do this but am not sure whether the sides should also be done since they aren't leather. I'm...

    1969 2000 TC leaking diff

Hi, I have noticed that the passenger side rear brake disc is covered in gear oil and suspect that the oil seal has failed. The differential is not overfilled and the breather isn't blocked.
