    4 Cylinder Fuel Tap Fix

Easy enough to take off and it's solid brass, the little grub screw holds the sleeve in place with the o ring on, boil in the pan or penetrating oil usually gets it moving

    Sticky annoying servo

That was my next question, the boost ratio, I've found ang do a full rebuild kit, plus the air valve, no change out of £100 tho, might start with a new air valve first and see how I go on, don't know how you split it to get to the big diaphragm there's no circular clip on this

    Sticky annoying servo

Thanks I've stripped that valve, can't see what it does, if you blow into the valve even when you've pushed it in still allows air in, anyway cleaned it put it back on the servo and the brakes returned to normal, wait and see, was going to buy a new one, being a 9" thought about powertune but...

    Handbreak

Disconnect the handbrake where it attaches to the ns linkage and then work each caliper linkage until it will work no more, assuming calipers have been rebuilt properly, reattach handbrake linkage and it should work, pads should be just scraping disc and when handbrake applied lock both wheels...

What could be done for the sound

When I bought my 68 v8 it had a 2 inch straight pipe from the bend over the rear driveshafts, what a deep hollow sound running just the centre box, sounds like an American flathead, I can recommend the burble, I did post a video on the Facebook rover p6 club site, give it a try

    Newtronic systems electric ignition

Hi rover Alex, it was hard to get on the shaft, after many scrapings of plastic it went on, tried tapping with a socket but couldn't get it to sit level to the sensor, started up better but the annoying misfire is still there so cap and leads and rotor to change next, the crack in the disc...

    Paint codes

Hi All, I'm getting close to painting my 68 v8, I have all the details off the bulkhead and it just says white, the car has been painted before and is a creamy white, probably with age, as I'm doing it in cellulose I'm struggling to decide on what white to use. Does anyone have a name for a...
