Looking for a set of 10.5 V8 high compression pistons.
Who might help me ? if used pls. mention mile age.

Good luck with your search. When I was looking I wasn't able to find a set that was a) local, or b) cheap. In fact, I think the only place I found proper 10.5:1 pistons was some company down in Australia and they were expensive. In the end I opted for custom forged pistons made by Venolia in Long Beach - just around the corner from me. It was, of course more expensive than an off the shelf set, but by the time I factored in shipping etc. they weren't a million miles apart cost wise. I think my total cost, including custom rings was about US$1,100.

You might try Welcome to Egge I think (but I am not sure) that a set of Buick 215 pistons will do the trick - someone will be sure to correct me if I am wrong. If they work they are about $350 for a set of 8. I am pretty sure that the 61 Skylark with the 4bbl used 10.5:1 pistons. If that doesn't work Egge will also make you a custom set of pistons.

I have considered the specs of Egge Buick pistons regarding to A type 10.5 pistons: 100 gr to heavy and clearance 0.03 mm to high. Except of clearance might do for B-type pistons. The company from Australia has the same problem+: 140 gr to heavy, and clearance complete out of range

Try Omega pistons in the UK. Perhaps best to contact them is via JE developments who can furnish you with advise.

I have a set of NOS 10.5 to 1 pistons but as you can imagine won't part with them as they're impossible to obtain.

You could use Discovery pistons and skim the head 20 thou. This would give 10.3:1 or thereabouts.

Pls. might you measure the diameter in mm of a NOS 10.5 piston at a right angle of the gideon pin, on the skirt, 6 mm below the oil ring groove in 2 decimals accuracy.
In order to consider the tolerance whether I can reuse my old 10.5's.
