15" rostyles

hi all i'm looking to fit the above wheel to the p6 and was wondering if anyone with same or other 15" rim could advise on what tyre size i would get away with, hoping to go slightly wider on the rear but don't want to have to modify anything or throw the speedo out to much thanks in advance wayne!

There are at least two sizes of 15" rostyle. 5" and 5.5" . The limiting factor is the rear guard inner panel and the top link of the rear hub. The V8s had the wider rim and the P6B has a cranked top link for the extra width. Technically you can get a 205 width tyre onto a 5" rim but it is really way too narrow. 205 should really have at least 6" rims for good stability. If you stick with 185 70 series tyres you shouldn't have an issue as standard tyres are 185 78 so going up an inch in rim size and down 8 points in aspect ratio (width to height) should make the tyres about the same rolling diameter so the speedo will be close if not exactly on.
