bet you cant see the Genuine police spoilers---not copies-real deal as are NADA vents

I really really like that (apart from the boot stickers :( ). There's some really carefully thought out things going on there. I particularely like the effect of raising the side waist trims above the crease line.

Have you tried blacking out the window frames, leaving the gutter in chrome (well stainless steel)?

All the early V8 prototypes were in 2000 base units. It wasn't until they crash tested one that they considered changing the base unit. In a full frontal, the cast iron manifolds interlock with the 2000 chassis rails and prevent the engine going down and out and under the car. With this route blocked the engine took the next available exit, through the bulkhead to join the passengers. Hence why the V8 base unit got widened chassis rails. Nothing to do with installation space, everything to do with crash performance.

Have you thought about adding some period scallops or flames, something in my head says with the flat black and moon discs it would work really well!

Does the interior have any custom touches aswell?

Well done on doing something completely different :D

- so subtle I had to have a second look to check it out
Did you notice its the thin side trim  borrowed from a NADA being stripped -many years ago

Hi Symes,

Twist locks on the bonnet too! I can see the Police spoilers now that you mentioned it. An Edelbrock inlet manifold and rocker covers too. What type of carburettor has been fitted?

Ron.
