I've realised that I haven't actually put up any photos of my car in the gallery, so, here is a bit of a quick history of my ownership, in photos!
Where it all began, in Chelmsford, 2010.

Shortly after getting the car roadworthy, two weeks after buying it.

Back on the road after major HGF, shortly after my first Christmas as owner.

During the middle of winter, as a daily.

First run in decent weather, on my favourite road.

Parked in Kirkcudbright (a favourite place to pass through on a run, often with a stop at the chip shop there)

The first of many hugely enjoyable visits to the Lake District in it.

Out for a post MOT run, in 2011, in one of my favourite spots.

On another of my favourite roads, between Laurieston, and Ringford.

Stopping for a look around Rannoch Moor, on a fantastic holiday to Skye and back.

A brief stop at Glengarry, as the sun was setting.

In Glencoe.

A great holiday, with great cars, and great friends.

At the Big Fleet viaduct, in the hills behind Gatehouse of Fleet.

Pretending to be a rally car, following the Blythswood Run, as part of the Monte Carlo Historique.

The 2000 with its short-term playmate.

Scottish All Rover Rally 2012

Carrick Shore. Things don't get much better on a summer's evening.

Enjoying autumn in 2012

Another day of chasing historic motorsport.

Outside one of the vast number of Youth Hostels that I've stayed in, while touring. Eskdale, at the bottom of Hardknott Pass, Lake District.

Just before the ascent of Hardknott.

At the top of Wrynose Pass, in the Lake District.

With my former 3500.

A trip to the shore, at Brighouse.

Out in the snow, on top of a Moor, near home, earlier this year.

Interior, as it stands now. Entirely different from the one I found when I got the car.

Having the head removed, to sort the O-ring at the back of the head.

What summer's evenings are all about.

On the road between New Galloway, and Newton Stewart, on a particularly dreich day!

At the Manchester Indoor Classic Car Show with my friend, Richard's Midget.

Finally, one of my favourite photos of the 2000.

Apologies for so many photos, but hopefully they give a very quick history of my time with the car, up to the present day.

Only the ONE photo on the back of a transporter, Fraser? Very modest of you....

Lovely set of photos. Several are contenders for my all time favourite P6 photo.

Chris

I thought it best not to include too many shots of it on the back of recovery wagons, though I can include a few more.

They tend to clash with the yellow don't they?

Looking great as usual Fraser, although the perverse side of me quite likes the shots of it all dirty after winter commuting and rallying

Thanks very much, Paul! Yes, I'll claim the colour clash is the reasoning behind not posting more breakdown photos!
I like those photos too, because they show that it is driven, and enjoyed properly, despite some pretty awful weather sometimes! I just love having a classic which I can subject to such use, and enjoy it!

Your perseverance has been well rewarded.

Thanks Harvey! I certainly couldn't have kept the car on the road without a lot of the exemplary advice that I've received from yourself, and other forum members over the years.
I reckon buying the 2000 is probably one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Your 2000 looks nice as always, but it is obvious that you have the gift of a talented photographer!

Fraser, that is a nice collection of photographs. You are obviously talented in that field. Your car is superb.
I really love the last one, just peeking out from behind that door.

(Off topic - I see you are in Kirkcudbrightshire. My daughter is an Irish Dancer and travelled over to take part in the Kirkcudbright Tattoo in 2012. There was a Classic car show on that weekend and they danced at that too. If she ever gets asked again, and is able to go, I might come over too for the show.

Many thanks, Colin!
I live about 12 miles from Kirkcudbright, and work there during the summer. The Summer Festivities in Kirkcudbright every summer are absolutely fantastic, and the Tattoo is always the same weekend as the classic car rally. The classic car rally is now very large indeed, completely taking over the centre of the town, and includes a very pleasant run in the morning. If you're over at any point, I'll gladly meet up, with the 2000. There are a few of us with P6s in and around the area.

I decided that since I had no classes at uni today, and the weather sounded good, that I'd go for a drive, for the sake of a drive. Needless to say, the 2000 was the car to choose! 8)
