From my late Father's estate is this 1969 2000TC with, I'm pretty sure, an accurate recorded mileage of 72000.

The car hasn't run in 5 years and now needs welding to the four sill corners. The car was immaculate when Dad used to run it - it was his pride and joy and won a prize at the Woodvale rally in 2008.

I've looked under the car and the floor seems solid, as is the boot floor - this is a very restorable car.

Dad completely rebuilt the engine just before it went off the road (he was unable to maintain it in later years) - everything was renewed including bearings (crank re-ground), new pistons and cylinders re-bored, new valves and hardened seats for unleaded, new timing chain and lower sprocket, new camshaft - the whole engine was totally re-built and has done no more than 2000 miles since, if that. The receipts for work done on the engine may surface in the coming weeks, as we go through Dad's papers.

The interior is good, with most wear being to the driver's seat.

The car is in Southport, near Liverpool. It will be available for collection in about a month's time from now (19/5/22).

As you'll see from the pictures the car needs work - it would make a good project car, or an excellent donor for parts.

The images were shot very quickly, without time to clean the car, so they don't show it at its best.

Price is £900 ono.
