Picking up tomorrow so no photos yet but will ad some soon.
Went to view today and although the "white" outer panels dont look the best i found very little rot anywhere else.
Cover sills were off so that was good, and no rot there.
Shame the engine and box were gone as appears to be low mileage.

Few other bits and pieces missing too but nothing major.

Appears from the vehicle check i just done to have been off the road a fair while.

Vehicle enquiryThe enquiry is complete.
The vehicle details for PBP 66M are:

Re: 1973 2200sc project

Thinking that i may now convert to manual as the orginal engine is missing anyway.
Still looking to run a 2200 when i find one

You have you work cut out there. It's a shame that the rear quarter panel is missing as it looks like there's lots of rust above the rear wing and I bet it goes under the rear window seal too.

Does look worse than it is. will have to look closer at that rear pillar to see how far round it has gone but is only on the surface so hopefully a bit of rust treatment should keep it at bay. have now removed the rear wing and no welding required under n/s and a small amont on the o/s.

Do need a pair of the pillar covers though if anyone has some

Thought i'd ad a few more pics.
Seems quite sound under front wings but a closer inspection inside revealed a nice fibreglass bodge on the n/s inner sill.
Still quite a sound baseunit compared to some ive seen but with that and the ever increasing parts that are missing i'm contemplating whether to break it or look for a rotten doner vehicle

From what I can see of those pictures, that's easily savable, three of my current p6's appear to have been 'dead' at one point, judging by the amount of welding that has gone about underneath. One thing I must ask, in the picture of the back of the car, is it my eyes, or does the tailpipe look 'massive'?

I think i'd go with what adam has said. Base unit looks not too bad from those pictures. Did you have a good poke of the inner sills and under the rear seats?

See what you mean about the tailpipe but its just the box hanging there where its so rotten so looks like a large tailpipe

Under the rear seats is all sound and good and just the mentioned fibreglass bodge on the N/s sill so basically needs the whole inner sill welding in.

On the plus side i removed what remains of the carpet today and the o/s inner and outer sill seems to be fine so think it will be repaired so the search will go on for the missing parts

Have now decided to strip this one down as theres just so much missing and then hang on to all the parts for when i find another.
Is a shme as the base unit isnt to bad but from a financial point of view just isnt worth it

So time to save up a bit of cash and get another project in a few months time (complete and preferably v8 this time)

On another note i say i'm going to keep all the parts if anyone does need anything let me know as will be prepared to let some bits go. :D
