I loaded up my ZT-T & took myself on an action packed mystery tour back in July starting on the Wednesday I set off sharp & travelled down to Colchester to see my mate, I arrived at lunchtime so we went for lunch (seemed only right) & then we scoured some of the Essex scrapyards then on the Thursday we popped over to Gaydon & had a fantastic day at the Motor Heritage Centre & then went to Bicester as we were invited to tea by another mate of mine, then we went up to Bromsgrove where our hotel was. On the Friday we had a scratch around the scrapyards of Brum & on Friday night went to Longbridge & did the obligatory photoshoot outside Q gate sadly the photos were terrible we walked right around the outside of the factory & even found the "Austin Village" (wooden bungalows erected by Herbert Austin for his workers) On Saturday we went to Ironbridge Gorge & had a great day but never got round it all (must go again) & then had a run down into Worcestershire. On Sunday we met up with a few 75/ZT enthusiasts at Tamworth Services & convoyed across to East Kirkby Airfield for the Lincs All Rover Rally which was a fantastic event & then went to Kings Lynn to my ZTs supplying dealer (now a LandRover agent) just as it would be rude not to being so close & then to a small garage just outside Diss to have a look round the back at the interesting rusty cars(insert drool smiley) & then back down to Colchester & more scrapyards on the Monday & then back home on the Tuesday covering a mere 1562 miles & I enjoyed every minute of it
