3500 rear suspension bushes - large washers

Hello all,

I need to replace the shock bushes on my rear shocks again, they don't currently have the correct washers fitted and instead have the smaller diameter pressed versions (same as on a Landrover). I suspect this is the reason for the failures so have decided to do things properly this time and go for the larger diameter bushes with large flat washers.

Trouble is i dont have any and cant seem to find them online under any of the part numbers on the rover classics exploded view.

Does anyone have one lying around that they could measure the ID, OD and thickness of for me please?

Many thanks

Jamie

Thanks Harvey, so I need the nylon tubes too. At least they are available from wadhams. I don't suppose you have any washers stashed away, preferably next to a set of verniers?

I probably do have some of those washers, but finding them and sorting them out from all the others would be a bit of a problem. I'd suggest asking the person in the other post to measure his for you when he fits his.

No worries, I was just being cheeky on the off chance :)thanks!

Have a look at this thread, too :)

Bop-Bop-Bop...

The 4 cyl cars should have narrower shocks with the smaller fittings at each end; the V8s have the bigger ones.

Thanks Phil!
