3500S badge (3x) + Police spec spoilers

Sounds good.
Let's see what the guy from classeparts answer. Otherwise if this doesn't work ... @quattro i would be interested if you plan to build some again. I would pay via bank transfer, not paypal ;):p

By the way...
i received postage from the UK....

They need some colour refreshment, but i think they look fine.

did anyone spot the grill behind the bottom valance in KLE860H in the picture?
looks like a good idea.
how and what is it?
Peter the inquisitive......

anyone know how it is fixed behind the lower grill?
I ask, because I have the lower valance/grill off the car at the moment , spraying it and knocking out several dents, it would be the ideal opportunity to make some modifications such as the s/s grill behind the front vents.

I'd guess it was drilled/screwed given the other mods and you wouldn't see the top behind the number plate but I don't know. You could also discretely wire-tie it to the existing grille in the lower valance (fishing line?).

But these days I'd use that 2K bathroom putty that comes in a log and you mash it together and then sets, Holds 60kg/square cm it claims and you can cut it off and clean the residue if you wanted. I use a little of this on my stainless steel side trims in addition to the clips (many of which are missing).

Doesn't need to stop an elephant, just hold it in place. I'm amazed at adhesives these days. My number plates are still stuck on with double-sided tape after 4 years. Remember how rubbish self-adhesive coat hooks were 20 years ago?

How about getting them made in Carbon Fiber, the clever part is creating the shape in the first place, but there are some very clever people about these days, most drive a Rover , so I'm told

Dear guys,

It took some weeks to keep things going with the spoilers.
They guy from classparts has some health problems, but i managed to get myself a pair.

He calls 175,60 GBP for a Set (2x Spoilers, 2x Bolt Kit, 2x Gaskets)

If anyone is still interest,
Give me a PM, i will forward you his contact data.

The sculptured badges as far as I know were only fitted to the U/S NADA 3500s which was automatic, never seen a U/K manual fitted with them from factory.
Clive.
My previous 'S' was a December 1971 car & came with a 'relief' 3500S badge on the boot which I had no reason to suspect was not original. Probably like many things, surplus badges were used up on the earlier UK 'S'.

Hi Phil.
Anything is possible with early cars I suppose it depends what was in the parts bin at that time
Clive.

I would also take a pair of spoilers....
thanks
Dec 1 - re-read this thread, went to fleabay, there was a pair - snapped them up! Dear, but couldnt help myself.
