Anyone know where to get series 2 door handle gaskets for P6 .Ive seen series 1 gaskets on ebay but not the latter

Thanks for the prompt reply
Will give Scotts a go
Am getting the P6 ready for a door fix and respray ,and as its got bodgy gaskets and the handles are coming off, I might as well make it look the part with new gaskets

I got a set for my S2 from ebay - about £16.00 I think.

I'll get you the ebayers name if you like

Richard
PS They're not rubber

Richard -thanks ,
yes an address or contact would be great
The scotts ones are not a complete set and are sold for either handles and/or lock sets and dont include the boot latch handle gasket

Ebay name is margaret7189, phone number 0121 559 5255, there is a set of series one gaskets on there at the moment (9042094884), but they do supply the series two ones as well.

Company is Atkinsons Landrover and Diagnostics.

Well
Ive had these door handle gaskets sitting in a drawer for around 10yrs now.
Theyre are the raised edge gaskets from "Scotts"
only thing stopping me putting them in- time.
Coronavirus lockdown and BOOM theyre in.
Time consuming to say the least.Total door strip down other than the frame and glass.
Pleased as punch.
Neighbour spotted me spending sooo much time doing each door , he reckons I love the P6 more than my wife

Very nice
I am amazed that you remembered you started a thread on this 10 years ago, I can't remember what I posted yesterday !

If you are getting the doors resprayed careful they don't use surfacer around the locks as the pins that hold them in are a tight fit and won't go in if there is too much paint.

I had them staring at me very time I opened the top drawer..
Drove me insane
I was too afraid to "file" them in a box in my vast shed coz they would have been lost forever.
So all in all a good move.

Now that all my friends is a very good piece of sage advice, coming from a man who "has been there ,done that"
thanks Mike
