Almond goes with anything

Ive given her a Xmas coat of ceramic polish. Very shiny and the dirt just hoses off -almost

Do those wheels have a deep offset, and what is the band ? it looks like an Almond ring.
Hi Cobraboy -Just stock P6 rostyles. Running 195/75/14. Have set of "snap on" white walls [yellow] from a bloke on eBay ex Turkey . Cheap and effective add on

A Tobacco P6 with a good sheen is hard to beat

Hmmm you mean a good gloss on that turd?

Mmmm -cant beat an Almond

Yeah that's called Butter....Almond Butter.

I like the suggestion of a Peach, seeing as how Rover was getting in touch with it Groovy Hippy self in the 60's and 70's with their colour scheme.

Don't know why they didn't include Jacaranda in the mix as well, noting that it looks rather lovely in your photo.

GRT how long have you had that car? Rover always did give us the best colours!! my first Rover 2000 in 1977 was Almond too

here's a picture of it in 1981 (with my missus to be !) , that was the last picture of it I took before moving onto a Rover 2200

Hi Falkor
I was in the fortunate position of ordering the Almond colour off the order book back in 72.
I always thought almond was such an advanced colour. Rover were very avante-garde with their colour brochure. If you can image back in the 70's most car manufactures were colour conservative.
I sold my car after 3 years and bought it back in the early 80's.
Love it to bits. Its grown into a relationship over all these years.

Your Rover looks fabulous Gerald!! Love the Jacaranda in the front yard. Is that your place?

Ron
Hi Ron
I like to drive around and find a nice background to photo capture against the P6.
That jacaranda was nothing like this one planted on a traffic island. Luckily not much traffic around my area this time of year so got a good pic
