There are some pretty special cars in amongst it too. but none are concours, he did drive several of them though and some were in excellent condition when he got them, it is just that they have sat for some time. There are also some non-drivers and an enormous amount of parts in the next days auction.
 
Discussed a bit tonight at the RCCA meeting. Sadly some cars have already been crushed apparently (non running spare parts cars I hope).
 
Did any of our eastern seaboard (Australian) members get a chance to go to the auction? Just wondering how it went.
 
Yes i'm currently shuffling my haul from Canb to Syd....All parts for me. It was actually 143 cars, running and with no structural rust but there was omething wrong with all of them. It was no museum. Parts supply for them was huge. Everyone was in shock at the shear scale of the operation, he had a complete commercail workshop and parts store, plus spray booth three hoists plus people paid just to maintain and work on the collection...
