I've carefully not looked at your age Demetris! It's time to go for a blast in the mountains - then you'll just feel 17!

HAppy Birthday!

Chris

Demetris,

Happy Birthday (I hope this is right).
Hope you have a great day :D

Happy birthday Demetris . A little late in the day but still time to enjoy a few more beers :D

Thank you all for your kind wishes and for your (successful!) attempts to use my language even with its very own fonts. :D
For about 1 week now the weather over here is too hot to be comfortable, and according to the forecast it will be like this until next week, but as i know that some of you suffer from floods i cannot really complain.
I left the office in Veria at 6 in the afternoon for the typical 1 hour return drive. At the time it was 39 C, but cruising at 60 - 70 mph with the window rolled down wasn't too bad. Since i managed to seal properly the pedal box (which allowed air promptly heated by the TC exhaust manifold to be blown all over my feet  ) summer driving isn't a painful experience anymore.
So no time to spare for mountain driving Chris, as i also had to take the Austin for its biennial MOT test (of course it passed) but regarding my age (39) when i was asked yesterday i replied inadvertently (honest!) 29! I realised it later and i am not going to disclose to whom i gave the wrong info or the subconscious reasons behind this either.
Anyway, late at night i had time for a beer or two (thanks Stina!) with friends.

Happy belated, Demetris! Looking forward to Greek sun, sand and keftedaki in a few weeks..!

Thanks Darth. Wishes are always welcome. Even in languages that i don't have a clue on.

Thanks Tor. I see that Greece is not new for you. Do you want to disclose the details? Where are you heading to?
I knew a Greek girl that got married to a Norwegian guy after they met as students in Paris. I guess your compatriot found his shortcut to Greece!

I guess he did! I'm spending two days in Athens and then a short week in Kythira, which is a first for me (with a compatriot of yours...). I've been to Skopelos and Folegandros (transiting in Santorini) before, loving every hour in your country. With ridiculously low temps here (yet again), reports of Greek 'heatwaves' are like music to my ears...
