Brakes a sticky problem as ever

Hi all. I wonder if anyone can recommend a garage in the Bournemouth Poole neck of the woods that will work on P6 brakes. My local garage is usually pretty good with my P6 obsession but wouldn't get involved with my rear brakes instead advising me to go to a specialist. Easier said than done. I next tried another garage I used to use long ago only to get the runaround for six long weeks eventually collecting the car and being told the brakes were fine but the original problem of sticky nearside rear still apparent. Just as well I wasn't charged. Any help greatly appreciated.

rear brakes on a p6 are a famous for having issues. mainly in access. sticking can be either pistons or pivot pins. if we remove pads we ought to be able to pivot/swing the calibre back and forth by hand. if this moves freely? then the sticking issue is more likely the pistons. corrosion etc can cause this. exchange callipers are available as are seal kits etc.
do check cable and pivots/runs are free too. dropping cable we can check mechanical movements on brakes by activating by hand .springs ought to readily return to the stops. check hand brake itself is free before refitting.
my P6 is still parked in garage doing about 30 miles per year due to rear brake issues. not sure it will pass MOT but may have to bite bullet and put it in for one! front brakes having been replaced and rears having new seals . foot brake is excellent. handbrake .. think an anchor on a chain may work better...

In my case it was just a weak spring in the 'flying saucer' valve on the servo. I pulled the cap off stretched the spring slightly and replaced the cap. No more sticky brakes and better pedal feel. I had rebuilt the servos (NADA 2000TC P6's have two) and calipers on my car myself though so felt confident there wasn't underlying issues.
