Brass Radiator cap question

Hello all. New member here. I noticed my recently purchased 1947 14 P2 sports seems to have a radiator cap unlike what I have seen on other cars. It's the Viking bust but its not chrome or nickel. This one seems to be solid brass. Any thoughts are appreciated. Ryan

This post, to coin a phrase, is useless without a picture!! AFAIK P2 and P3 never had anything other than a chrome cap with a small fin on it - I have had both models.
The left mascot came with my 1926 9 (since sold). The other came fairly cheaply from ebay - a poor copy - casting not well cleaned up. Both have threads underneath for fitting to radiator caps.
