She's baaack! Several months in the shop now sporting 4L heads on a fresh rebuild with a .030 overbore with fast road cam and upgraded oil pump. Hydraulics/brakes/suspension all fresh. The sundym glass with replaced seals and magstars are just some of the areas addressed to get this beauty back on the road.

Oldbloke, that looks terrific. How do you decide which Rover to take out for a drive? Are both your cars equipped with automatic gearboxes? Do you have a favourite, and if yes what is it about the car that you prefer? I envy you your conundrum.

Hi, both cars have the BW35 tranny. Most wheel time with several long distance treks to the PNW and B.C. without probs in the green car and its Holley 4-bbl, comfy new leather interior and recent gleaming respray, has been my preferred ride. The red car with new almost everything has been in the shop for several months, but came home feeling as tight and solid as showroom so...? Both have A/C, but only green car is currently working (BTW Jag XJ6 circa '86 has that almost unobtainium HVAC valve that can fit the Rover)

Hey old bloke
We have several Jag XJ6 of that vintage in our bone yard at work, post up a pic of what you need and I'll take a look see.

I have 3 cars with the valves still on them. The thing is I don't know the condition. In looking for a better image I came across this valve in Oz, it is not a lot of money, and I doubt it will cost much to ship.
Let me know what you think.
Mark
