Hi all where is the best place to purchase a front be35 to torque converter atf seal for a p6 2000 sc and does anyone know the best way to replace the seal as I cannot use my car because of so much atf loss through the bell housing and I have already put a new seal around the cover plate. Also is there anything else that it could be?

Thank you alL in advance.

It's normally the front pump seal. The front pump gasket can leak, but it's not common and it wouldn't pour out if it did.
I'm not sure what seal and cover plate you refer to.

Hi Harvey,

The cover plate that I am talking about is the one at the front of the gearbox that carries the torque converter shaft and bolts into the front of the gearbox holding it all in place the Atf is pouring out of the bottom of the bell housing could this be anything else?

Cheers

That sounds like the front pump gasket.
I've had the spigots rip out of the front of the converter, but only when the flexplate has failed.

Actually I did have one with the spigot that got broken when a gearbox/converter was being fitted.

As I said, the normal problem is the front pump seal. The gearbox has to come out to replace that, all I could suggest is looking for any other leaks when it's dismantled.
