BW35 Valve Body interchangability.

Back on this car today and I've fitted the Valve block that was without slip. I now seem to have lost third I don't have reverse. I believe this is the rear servo? but any ideas welcome. Any idea what might have happened here? I might add it now pulls like a train in first and second.

Third gear (TOP) uses the front and rear clutches, and REVERSE uses the rear clutch and the rear band, so if you've lost both then it's a rear clutch fault. The amount of times this has been apart it could be a problem with the rear clutch supply pipe incorrectly fitted or missing..

I'll have a look again this evening. Interestingly enough, this is the valve body that was fitted to the 303 that originally lost reverse way back at the start of the post.

I'll have a look at the supply pipe. I found that when I would build the revs up car would engage into reverse but felt like there was only a partial engagement as the engine speed and the reverse movement didn't match.

So sump was off today. Found the front servo release pipe to be in the sump when sump was removed today . Looking at the WM, I find the 2 to 3 valve has a feed to front servo release pressure from the servo release pipe. I assume this being disconnected or lose would result in a delayed or none existent action of the rear band and clutches?
