BW65 auto gearbox does not shift to third gear on Rover P6 3500

Hi Harvey P6. Just wanted to thank you. I trawled the internet when my bw65 started having trouble upshifting and came across this thread. After reading it a few times and discounting all other probable causes, l bit the bullet and got the car up on the hoist and dived in. After cleaning the governor, making a new housing gasket and reassembling, it's changing gears properly again. Hardest part was the chinese puzzle of how to get the mount off/on again as this is a bw65 fitted to a pb5 with home-made bits; just doable. Thanks again, regards Tim
