I am a little bit excited, I am going to a car show tomorrow !!!!!!!!! yep, the first one of the year ! Gonna take the old P6 and see what happens. The show is all pre book and for the public pre book as well, so numbers are limited.
The weather is set fair, I'll let you know how it turns out.

Looking forward to your posts. Have to to live vicariously through others experiences on this side of things. Closest event still being held semi-doable for me would be a 700+ mile trek to Washington state.

Well, I had a pretty good day, the route in and out was torturous and slow due to everyone trying to get along a single file track, but it worked, just.
I saw so many people I knew I seem to have spent the whole time catching up rather than car spotting. Everyone was glad to be out and about.
A few pics to show the flavour, huge variety there.
Venue, Glemham hall Suffolk.

Popped in for a cup of tea on the way out.

My first motorcycle. Bastard thing nearly killed me.
Loved the sound of it, and the smoke screen when you really wound it open.
1976 I rode pillion on the back of one of those to Earls Court bike show from Suffolk. Amazing ride, my fore arms burned so much from holding on.
Getting off a two stroke 50cc moped onto the Suzuki was like being strapped to a rocket. Great times !

Been on the old water bus a few times to, seemed a bit big and heavy at the time, in the 70's

I had a GT380 for a while and that was fun, never fancied the bigger kettle though.

The 380 was fairly mental. I changed a chain for a friend on one of those and he said - take it for a spin.... well I was used to lazy four stroke twins, whacked the thing open, didn't realise the front wheel was heading skyward !, got away with it, but needed a change of underwear.
Respected peaky 2 strokes a lot more after that.

It was a surprisingly nice ride, pity the rider's skill levels weren't up to task along with the really old, squared-off Pirelli Phantom that ended the dream.
