As some of you will know Chris went into Southmead Hospital, Bristol, last week for a long awaited hip replacement.

Things are sadly not going quite to plan.

On the day following his operation Chris fell over, popped the new hip and cracked his femur. They have reset his hip for the time being and will be completing the job with another operation this Wednesday. In the meantime he has his legs strapped together and is confined to lying flat on his back. He will no doubt be kept in hospital for some time.

Sadly, at this stage, our man Yorkie is out of action. More news when I get it.
 
Am hoping that someone gives him a laptop, so the poor fellow doesn't have to endure re-runs of the Jeremy Kyle show ;)


Get well soon mate! You've got a few weeks to sort yourself out before I'm back down in Bristol to see you-know-who
 
Best wishes Chris, hope you get better soon. My other half had her hip done last year, and managed to dislocate it 4 times in a fortnight, which was extremely painful. Can't imagine the pain you went through falling on it though. :shock: Take care, and hopefully all will get better. If its any consolation, one year on, and my other half is now moving quicker than she has in years, and can walk 10 miles easily, without any pain at all, so hopefully you'll be the same.
 
Crikey, not been on here for a while and the first thing I spot is this! Hope they can fix you up soon, take it easy Chris.
