From April 25th to May 2nd we have planned a holiday in Dorset and our P6 will be our means of transport.
I have read that on April 27th it is also "drive-it-day".
Does anyone of you know of a classic car event we can visit in this period, it would be nice to see some other P6´s too.
Tanks in advance for any ideas.

Regards,

Kees

Hello Kees .
I live in Dorset . The dates you have given are still early in the show season . However classics on the prom will of started again by then http://www.classiccarsontheprom.com/, See the link .
Also in the area you have the National Motor Museum Beaulieu http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/ , Not cheap but a full day out . If you were coming a few weeks later you could of taken in the Beaulieu auto jumble , And the Bournemouth Wheels Festival ( a new for this year 3 day event , suppose to be as big as the air show ) http://bournemouthwheels.co.uk/ .
Maybe you'll decide to stay longer  :D
I'd be happy to meet up for a P6 chat , or show you the way down the prom , point you in the direction of local attractions . feel free to PM , stina

Edit , you prompted me to look up a local club doing a drive it day run through the New Forest , that will be very scenic , finishing up in a local( ish ) pub for lunch ( optional ) That should be a good day out .

Thanks Stina, we have been to Beaulieu in the past and it is a great day out.
If we stay longer we get into trouble with the Dutch authorities, the children have to be back to school on May 5th...
A drive through the New Forest with other classics would be very nice (lets see if I can find anything on google).

Look up " New Forest Classic Group " , They are organising the run . Weather and other commitments permitting i'm going to do the run then go down the prom after . :D

Hi Kees,

I work in Dorset, and although my every day car is a Jag, I'd love to meet up one afternoon to take a look at your car..

Regards,

Chris
