Classic engine rebuild

Now that beats Harry Potter by a long shot  and what a climactic ending with some humour thrown in to. a feel good movie I could watch again and again, however the painting would be done in a different order by me. Definatly an IMDB rating of 8 stars out of 10

No question really, but didn,t see the torque wrench,
Then again didn,t own a torque wrench till ooooooh Rootes 1725cc, Singer if I remember correctly.
Getting withdrawl symtoms due to the snow. Only thing done since christmas is to take the alloys for refurb.

I really like that, good find Talago.

One of our customers sent a similar film showing a bike frame that he'd bought from us being built up - must have taken days!

That is strangely addictive!

There are some amazing time lapse style build videos on youtube, one thing we should do at work for our customers on the bigger refurb/rebuild/repair projects (light aircraft  )

having just rebuilt the very same engine (albiet it for a different car) i really hope he didnt forget the spigot bushing. they are a truely horrible engine to work on!

I would never paint an engine after build, it just makes no sense to do that, i sprayed all of mine prior to rebuild (and thus mine looks much nicer :))

a nice video to watch though, i cant say i would have a patience!
