Clunk!

Hi
Just took my P6B auto (BW35) - there was a noticeable clunk when I selected drive or reverse from neutral. It wasn't there on the last trip out. I haven't investigated at all yet. Is it likely to be a gearbox mount that's loose .... or something more serious?

Any thoughts welcome

Thanks

Richard

Check the driveline UJ's, diff bearer plate and mounts, engine idle speed, and that the top of the cable hasn't somehow dropped out of the ferrule. If the clunk is really bad, make sure that all the gearbox to bellhousing bolts haven't fallen out.
