Clutch problem LT77 conversion

I have changed the BW35 for a LT77 of an SD1.
The gearbox fits ok, i have made a complete new exhaust system and it looks fine.
But when we changed the pedal box for one with a clutch the problems started.
First of all the rod which operates the master cilinder bent when i use the clutch pedal.

But when i opperate the pedal, the clutch move's in the belhousing.
But i think the movement in the belhousing is not enough to release the clutch.

Do i need an other slave?

what am i doing wrong?

Hi, There are two depths of slave cylinder mounting. You need to remove the slave cylinder then with the pushrod pushed lightly in so the thrust bearing touches the clutch, measure how far the end of the pushrod is from the slave mounting flange. Then with the slave cylinder push the piston back so that it's right in, now measure the distance to the mounting flange. This can be a bit fiddly because the piston keeps trying to come forward again. These show the two types -

266694 | Clutch slave cylinder-S11/11A - Paddock Spares

591231R | Clutch slave cylinder - Paddock Spares

The two measurements need to be similar if not, then piston travel will be affected. I have shown ones from a LR supplier because they are cheaper, you can of course use an SD1 slave cylinder but the hydraulic connection is 6mm which means an adaptor for the pipe. The LR type are the more usual 3/8".
