Hi all.
Went to a local show today, and saw this drop dead gorgeous early 1971 p6v8 auto.
It has less than 4000,,,yes thats 4k miles on the clock,"GENUINE"!!
What an absolute cracker!
It must be a contender for the most genuine and lowest mileage P6 known!!
The owner also has a 1963 P6 2000 bought from new ,apparently in almost the same condition!!!

4000 miles! Poor car, the owner should drive the old girl more! Mind you must be so nice to see one in that condition, any more pics......

Wonder if it was trailered to the show ?
Is there much fun to be gained from buying a car and only doing 100 miles in it per year ?

Current "retired" owner bought it fairly recently with 2.5k on the clock,it had been exceptionally well dry stored up on blocks since the mid 70,s due to a bereavement.
He has done close on 1.5k in it, he drives it to all events, has 1 or 2 other classics,so rotates their use to give them all an outing.

Yes,but its not my place to divulge that info!
Though I dont think the current owner would mind if I did.
Suffice to say when it was up for sale, the seller wanted about £9k for it but didnt get anywhere near that.

Good on him. :) And a lucky bugger too. Hope he joins the forum so we can see more.

That's a lovely car!

Another case of 'looking right'. It's obvoius to all us P6 anoraks on here  that the car is an original unmolested example, just from the one photo!

All i can say is theres a space in my garage were it would fit, what a lovely car shame its not a 2000sc lol, just joking
regards
marcus
