Curved V8 Bonnet Badge

Like an idiot I threw mine away. I need an excellent condition one of these, or maybe just a replacement I can have refinished. Anyone have these? I would need the insert plugs too.
 
Curved V8 bonnet badges are the preserve of the SD1. P6 ones are flat and available as good quality repros from both Winns and MGBD.

P6 bonnet V8 badges are definitely curved, the rest on the car are not. Usually made from Aluminium or if your lucky heavy chrome. The badge plastic inserts are the same throughout the car. I'll take a look to see if I do have one and will PM if I am successful

Ah! Sorry Adrian. I read it as a bonnet badge for a 3500, not a V8 badge. Dohhhh. Yes, the S1 V8 "V8" bonnet badge is indeed curved to fit around the edge of the bonnet. I shall have a spare one around mid March when Lucky acquire's his new louvered bonnet.

wow I will be waiting to see that as I remember one that my dad had and it looked rather nice on the p6 along with the V8 front valance with meshing in it that will no doubt be going on GNR 140N

Hey! That's the front valance I had done with your Dad for the Thai car! Glad he kept it. I guess it was too non standard for the chap who eventually bought it.

I'll be really pleased to see that on your car. Check my Facebook page and you'll see I eventually got another one done for Lucky! they'll be twins when they meet!

haha he took a liking to this I think but the louvered bonnet not so much and it sat outside for a year or so until someone offered him something like £30 and he sold it not sure who it was though or where it went but I really liked the look of it :D :D
