Edelbrock performer inlet manifold

Hello all of you.
I fell over an article on facebook about edelbrock 2198 manifold which was missing two holes/passages from the water channels to the thermostat housing.
but now i am not able to find the article again.
The Rover ,Pontiac and Buick manifold would have these holes. the point is that air should not be trappet so easily in the thermostat housing.
Does any of you know something about this matter. should i drill these holes or not.? Or is it not worth the effort.
Best regards Multi

Have one on my car, the only extra un-drilled holes that I can think of were the holes that allowed for the water temperature sender ( or it may have been the choke light).

Now i got hold of rover inlet manifold, and there is no steamholes from the water channel to the thermostat housing. so i thing i just will forget all about it. ;) cheers

IIRC the rear coolant holes on an Offenhauser from head to manifold are not used. Is this what you mean ? Pictures tell a good story.
