Engine bay wires

Please can anyone tell me what the two wires are for in the engine bay

Whereabouts is that? Trying to place it....

It's located on the left hand side of the engine bay, approximately halfway between the power steering reservoir and the windscreen washer pump, the two joined wires come out of the taped wires running down the side of the engine bay. Both wires are live when the ignition is turned on, but I cannot seem to track them into the fuse box. Sorry for the confusion.

They look like the feed wires ( ballasted supply ) for ignition coil.

The only white/yellow wires I have on mine (Wiring diagrams do differ though) is the wire from the starter to the coil, which gives it 12V whilst cranking and from the coil to the ballast resistor. Is the wire on your + coil white/yellow? There is another one from the choke warning light to the switch in the centre console but unlikely that would go anywhere near the engine bay. I have no white/pink wires.

Have a look on your wiring diagram for wires marked WK and WY.

Are these two wires joined?
