fibreglass panels - painting fibreglass

Hi all,
just wandered if anyone had any experience in painting fibreglass panels. I have just aquired some second hand frt wings for my 3500s and want to spray them white eventually. I can spray paint but have never done any fibreglass panels, can you use ordinary cellulose paint and primer or is special paint required are there any pitfalls with fibreglass panels on the p6 that i should be carefull of when fitting as i want to do the best job i can.

I have painted some glass fibre panels before.

There is a special primer to give a good bond and an additive that must be added to the paint to give flexibility (that was with 2 pack not sure about cellulose)

The best thing to do would be contact some paint factors and get some advice from them. Try more than one as they will also have different paint systems.

Also search the interent if you put "painting fibre glass" into google you should find plenty of information.

If you are in the North West then I can reccomend contacting Andy at macclesfield paints he is very knowledgeable and loves to pass it on! He was very helpful with me when I was painting my car.
