Front brake rebuild Dunlop

After losing almost al brake fluid the last time I drove the P6 it was time for a rebuild. It was leaking, sometimes, a very small amount of brake fluid from the lefthand side front caliper for some time, but it suddenly got worse.
Luckily I had ordered the rebuild kit some time ago. My 1964 P6 still has the Dunlop brakes but the parts were easy to get from JR Wadhams.
Last weekend I started to take the brake apart. To my surprice all bolts came lose easy and even the connecting brake pipe was in good condition. It was clear the cilinders hadn´t got any attention for some time. There was a lot of brake fluid in the dust seal en the cilinder was full of rubbish. The brakepads almost fell to pieces.
After cleaning and polishing the cilinder, a bit of paint and new seals they were ready to put back on, which I did this afternoon. New brake pads completed the job.
A test drive proved I have to do the right hand side too, because during braking it is now pulling heavy to the left!

This is how it started.
