Front Spoilers for P6?

M6 fits the captives in one spoiler very well, badly loose in the other. New 1/4 BSF are too big in OD to fit. The original bolts are 26tpi, OD is 0.230".

Try 0BA they are 0.236" and 25.4 TPI. If that sounds odd it's because it's a metric based thread (6mm x 1mm pitch).

0BA sounds awfully like M6x1 to me. As above M6 fits one spoiler well, but they are loose loose useless in the other....???

Don’t do BA. you’ll need unique spanner’s plus it’s a pain if you lose a nut or something.

I agree, I wasn't suggesting he should, just that it could possibly be what it is. I think JP is getting bogged down trying to identify it. I think he should just run a suitable tap through and change it to the fixing he has.

So JP, don't overthink it.

Running a tap through risked ripping the nuts out of captivity, wasnt happy with that thought. In the end I took the oversize(on dia) BSF bolts and shaved them down in the lathe until they fitted. Did one spoiler with 2 bolts, OK. shaved 2 more bolts, packed it in for the night, couldnt find them today. Scrounged a couple of bolts that fitted...sort of, fitted the other spoiler. Pics to follow......Have emailed Classeparts about the thread....
Not good with spray cans, so the finish is only fair...Should do its intended job if ever I can get it up the necessary speeds.
