Fuel reserve tap cable trunnion

I've broken the "trunnion" that holds the fuel reserve cable to the lever on the tap.

I ordered a replacement part no. 566902 from a Land Rover parts supplier, listed as a heater cable trunnion, but its diameter is too big to fit through the hole on my fuel tap.

Does anyone know where I could get a replacement trunnion the right diameter to fit the hole? It's a Series 1 2000 if that makes a difference. Wondering if I've used the right part number because my parts book is for the Series 2 cars?

Not sure of the size but would an SU carb. one do the job ?
I think it's supposed to be the same as the carb one, seems to be the same part number.
Just measured this evening with a micrometer, the original one is 5mm diameter, the modern replacement is 6mm. I could drill a bigger hole in the fuel tap arm but would prefer to get the right pin if possible.

Just to close this out for anyone else who finds this thread in future...

I ordered a replacement from Rimmer Bros after confirming the dimensions with their customer service people. Happy to report that it's identical to the original and a perfect fit.
