Just treated my Rover to a garage tidy up!


Floor tiles are clip together tiles. Very good quality I have to say and better than I was expecting. Dead easy to put down too. I did the whole floor in about three hours. Painting bare concrete block walls white was another story though!!

The tiles look great. Will they take the weight of a trolley jack lifting the car?

I've looked at those, but I use rollers under the wheels of the cars, so that I can shove them against the walls if I want to work between the cars - so they wouldn't work for me.

Hi, That's what I would call a motor house, garages are for working in.

The tiles are very heavy duty and surprisingly heavy and will support the weight of a jack and apparently axle stands too. I would always put something underneath axle stands though just for protection. Trolley jacks seem fine. My garage floor was concrete and very dusty so these work a treat to keep the dust down. I have a few spares too so if one is damaged then you can just replace it. and if you move house you can take your floor with you as it isn't stuck in place!!

Hmm, l like a bit of clutter myself, sorted to some extent so you can find stuff. Full shelves can give the illusion that you know what you're doing.

The garage is tidy because my workshop has all the rubbish in at the moment and looks like a disaster movie! That is my next mission!!
