Removing that one engine does make it look far more achievable. And as a V16 it'll still be pretty epic!

Good to see you back & it looks as though you are well on top of your workshop loss. It does look a bit bare though, losing all those collected parts & your equipment must have been very hard to swallow.
They look great. Are they up to the job? They look as though they should be. What about the relevant ministry test regarding wooden wheels on a 'special'?
What part of the vehicle is pre 1960? Apart from the wheels of course. Surely you can't just bolt together a load of parts from the 70s to 90s and call it a 1920s car because it looks like one. :?
Back on the case.After getting more steel, today was spent mounting the horns and siren, finishing the bonnet supports, and starting the dash, checking to get the best angle for vision and steering wheel clearance.Oh yes, and getting a quote for the headlight resilvering, etc, about 600 quid.
I know it looks like the Forth Road Bridge, but the design is so I can mount a travelling trunk and spare wheels, as well as boxing in the petrol tank. Will all look OK when pretty bodywork is in place - and bloody strong as well. Huge welding day tomoz, as only tack welds so far.
