Hello - just joined with an unusual project.

fantastic - after the garage fire i really thought that might be it! Good to see progress!

Wow, great to see you back again, especially after what you've been through.
Removing that one engine does make it look far more achievable. And as a V16 it'll still be pretty epic!
Looking forward to watching it come together.

I'm SO pleased you moved the rad back, that's going to make all the difference to the proportions, and like has been said a v16 is plenty...

Glad you're back and building again, sounds like a truly awful year..

Good to see you back & it looks as though you are well on top of your workshop loss. It does look a bit bare though, losing all those collected parts & your equipment must have been very hard to swallow.

Nobody hurt though which is the main thing.

Many thanks everyone. Making good progress now.
The 1921 wheels cleaned up kinda good - new tyres later this week.

They look great. Are they up to the job? They look as though they should be. What about the relevant ministry test regarding wooden wheels on a 'special'?

Due to age, there is no test in the Uk for pre 1960 vehicles.

What part of the vehicle is pre 1960? Apart from the wheels of course. Surely you can't just bolt together a load of parts from the 70s to 90s and call it a 1920s car because it looks like one. :?

Good to see some progress after your previous disaster . Looking good , can't wait to see / hear it finished :D

I know it looks like the Forth Road Bridge, but the design is so I can mount a travelling trunk and spare wheels, as well as boxing in the petrol tank. Will all look OK when pretty bodywork is in place - and bloody strong as well. Huge welding day tomoz, as only tack welds so far.
