Hi Barten.
That seal fits into a channel aided by a special tool which is like a large flat washer and rolls the seal into that channel, and not glued.
I made my own tool which works well.
Can post a picture tomorrow if that helps.
Regards.
Clive.

That would be excellent if you could post a picture showing where to attach the seals. Regards Barten

My mistake was dozing off
Your right Richard no seal on that part of the D post .
There was a right angled sponge seal glued to the rear wing in that area where it touches the D post.
Not seen original ones now but I think Wins sells something similar.

I am 95% certain that none of my P6s have ever had a seal fitted there

Richard
I have also never seen any of those seals. But I have not taken off the wings of my original Rover. It maybe have them. Regards, Barten

You may be lucky, if they are original panels should still be there, many are forgotten/ not refitted when renewing wings.
Clive.

That seal is meant to be glued to the wing. If it isn't there and you drive much in the rain, you'll find the back of the rear door and the D post area will get quite dirty.

Yours
Vern
