in tank fuel catalyst

I have 3 magic beans to swap that no one claimed the last time this was last discussed, I'm just going to muck out the unicorn that I bought off Ebay as an improvement on a horse....

Damn, the rotten sod sold me a donkey with an ice cream cone gaffer taped to its head  .

will be getting a series 1 2000tc
That'll need half a pound of used bird shot, wrapped in 3 layers of virgin cheesecloth and
oriented in an East-West axis at all times to be truly effective.

OK, OK, no need to shove. I'll get my coat.....

Tried one of these with a 10.5:1 V8 engine.

It didn't prevent that horrible splintering sound when placed under load with 95 RON unleaded in spite of claims to be able to stop the knock.

No difference to the fuel economy either.

I remember these being sold when unleaded was introduced to the UK as the only option. I tried it in my then Vauxhall and it did nothing. If was thoroughly debunked in tests by practical classics. They tried it on their Austin 1800 landcrab. If I recall correctly after a few thousand miles it suffered terrible valve seat recession.
