Hi all - very new to P6s and the forum. My first question is, is there an inertia seatbelt kit that is bolt in for a 74 2200TC?
Cheers
Chris

Thinks that's each .. already got a spare pair for mine for front form a rover guy. though never fitted they are not exactly correct as the female 'stick' part that bolts to floor is wrong though useable. Might treat myself to pour of rear belts later but as so few 'correct'. parts out there or beyond my means ( well I am a pensioner and wife is thinking divorce if I spent any more on my beast) but I have hinted. xmas is coming along..

Is this for the front seats?

If you are new to P6 you may not know that the belts are different. if you snatch them they dont lock. They should under braking etc. catches out MOT testers too.

I had a set of 5 inertia reel belts fitted because I carry passengers of various sizes and ages and it was a TOTAL pain trying to adjust the belts all the time, plus I was really unsure about how safe the old belts were. (They are available if anyone wants them - a set of 4 original 1970 - aircraft type (grey) fronts and factory fitted rears (black)). Very pleased with the new belts although the anchor positions had to be changed. They were installed by Quickfit who were very efficient, but not cheap!! But then I took the view, what price safety.
Interestingly the installer said that some of his customers insisted on illegal installations for display, but the car was never driven on the road. What a waste I thought - I drive the Duchess at every opportunity. Why have such a car if not for the pleasure of driving?
